Data protection notice pursuant to the GDPR
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from third parties and does not track you. The long version follows.

Hosting
This site is hosted on Laravel Cloud. When you visit, the server necessarily processes your IP address and standard request data (time, requested page, browser identification) to deliver the page and to keep the service secure — legal basis is legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I do not use this data for anything else and do not combine it with other sources.
Cookies
None. Your dark/light mode choice is stored in your browser's localStorage — it stays on your device, contains no personal data and is never transmitted anywhere.
Analytics
None. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. Fonts are served from this site itself, so no font provider sees your visit either.
Contact by email
If you email me, I use your address and message solely to reply. The correspondence is kept as long as needed for that purpose — legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f), or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to a contract.
Connection page
The who-am-I page shows you your own IP addresses and the public whois data behind them. To do that, the server queries RIPEstat (RIPE NCC, Netherlands/EU) and reverse DNS with your IP and caches the answer briefly — legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This happens only when you open that page, the data is shown only to you, and nothing is stored beyond the short-lived cache.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the GDPR. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (dsb.gv.at).
